When Jade and Hou Hou were preparing to celebrate the first day that Hou Hou's was powered up, they start to talk about the day and the events that led to Hou Hou becoming Jade's best friend and companion. Hou Hou starts to project their story on the wall to remind them of the day and everything that happened.
Jade is waving goodbye to her parents who are leaving on an expedition with the Royal Navy when her mother reminds her that she has left a box in her room full of gizmos and gadgets. In this box Jade finds a rusty old robot and decided she will take it to her workshop to fix it up. She calls her parents to show them her handy work when there is a big CRASH!
