The Not Just a Princess” series started when my daughter was just 1 years old. Family and friends were commenting on her looks more than her abilities and I was constantly saying “she’s not JUST a Princess”. After having illustrations commissioned for her bedroom, I started to tell her stories about them where she was a pilot. She would laugh, smile and want more stories so I started to write them down and share them on our Blog, which started to really grow. Eventually I had so many little stories that my wife said I should get them all illustrated and… I did. This is where the first 6 books came from and it continues to be the inspiration for creating even more.
